FOXO4-DRI affects a variety of cellular processes, including insulin signaling, cell cycle regulation, and oxidative stress signaling pathways, it is a cell-penetrative peptide, meaning it can enter cells from the inside and perform its role, and it has been shown in animal studies to selectively induce apoptosis in senescence cells, potentially reversing some of the effects of aging.
